As a client services director at Lautze & Lautze, George provides clients with a wide range of accounting, tax, and consulting advice. He is a highly trusted advisor to closely held businesses in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, distribution, trucking, professional services, and automobile dealerships.
He has often assisted both for family-owned businesses and for closely-held companies with their succession planning needs during ownership transfers. He also consults with clients regarding business expansion plans and retirement and estate planning. In addition to his accounting expertise, George provides litigation support to attorneys in cases that involve business valuation and calculation of economic loss.
Having joined Lautze & Lautze in 1970, George was named director in 1979. As firm growth continued, George played an important role in the establishment of the San Jose office, where he now serves as the managing director of the office. George is also a member of the firm's Quality Control Team and is responsible for ensuring that client's financial reports meet professional standards.
When he is not at the office, George enjoys his family, golf, tennis, hunting, and fishing.
Education
George is a 1970 graduate of the University of San Francisco, where he received the "M.P. Kilgore Award" in Accounting.
