With more than 24 years of experience in individual and corporate taxation, Dan Hoffman approaches clients with enthusiasm and a collaborative approach to solutions. Dan represents clients in the areas of estate and retirement planning, IRS controversies, taxpayer representation, and rendering advice letters. As a member of the Lautze & Lautze team since 1978, Dan coordinates the firm's fiduciary and estate tax practices.

Dan's expansive career background provides a well-rounded approach to creating successful solutions for client needs. His in-depth experience in litigation consulting engagements include: marital dissolution, accountant's malpractice, tax shelters, valuations, business mergers, corporate divorce, personnel compensation issues, and IRS controversies.

When he is not at the office, Dan enjoys volunteering with the Big Brother Program and is a Chaplainry Volunteer at Stanford University Hospital.

Education
Dan attended St. Bonaventure University where he received his B.A. in Liberal Arts in 1969. He received his M.B.A. from Golden Gate University in both Taxation, 1982, and Accounting, 1980.
