Jeffrey Speaks Out!
Why are you passionate about your career choice?
Digging into the forensics of accounting is like solving a mystery, which is very exciting.
What makes Lautze & Lautze an exciting place to work?
The firm fosters a culture of respect, integrity, and trust—all important ingredients for a satisfying and successful career.
Would you describe a “success story” related to client services?
I had the opportunity to help a broadcasting group with the sale of its business. I achieved this by analyzing and evaluating industry reporting standards and making recommendations on how to best share information with a potential purchaser. Specifically, I evaluated programming revenue and expenses, trade arrangements, inventory values, licensing agreements, and program amortization and compared that information to industry standards and practices. The result: a successful sale.
What are you up to when not at the firm helping clients?
I spend my time raising Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
